FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR AMIETE/DipIETE STUDENTS FOR JUN 2010 EXAMINATION ONLY

The followings rule are applicable only for those students who migrated from old to new syllabi.

1. What will happen to those students who have cleared all the papers of Sec A Part I with GPA of 5 in best 3 papers and have appeared for first time examination in Dec 09? Can they apply for theory papers Sec A Part II?

Ans: - No, such students will not be permitted to appear for any papers of Sec A Part II. They shall be permitted for Lab I of Sec A Part I only.

2. What will happen to those students who have cleared a minimum of three papers of Sec A Part I with GPA of 5 and have appeared for first time examination in June 09? Can they apply for the theory papers Sec A Part II?

Ans: - Yes ,such students will be permitted for Lab I of Sec A Part I along with all the papers of Sec A Part II in June 2010 examination. If such student fail or do not appear in Lab I of Sec A Part I, the result of Sec A Part II papers will be cancelled.

3. What will happen to those students who have cleared all the papers of Sec A Part II with GPA of 5 in best 3 papers and have appeared for first time examination in Dec 08? Can they apply for theory papers Sec B Part I?

Ans: - No, such students will not be permitted to appear for any papers of Sec B Part I. They shall be permitted for Lab II of Sec A Part II only.

4. What will happen to those students who have cleared a minimum of three papers of Sec A Part II with GPA of 5 and have appeared for first time examination in June 08? Can they apply for the theory papers Sec B Part I?

Ans: - Yes, such students will be permitted for Lab II of Sec A Part II along with all the papers of Sec B Part I in June 2010 examination provided passed Lab I of Sec A Part I. If such student fail or do not appear in Lab II of Sec A Part II, the result of Sec B Part I papers will be cancelled.

5. What will happen to those students who have cleared all the papers of Sec B Part I with GPA of 5 in best 3 papers and have appeared for first time examination in Dec 07? Can they apply for theory papers Sec B Part II?

Ans: - No, such students will not be permitted to appear for any papers of Sec B Part II. They shall be permitted for Lab I of Sec B Part I only.

6. What will happen to those students who have cleared a minimum of three papers of Sec B Part I with GPA of 5 and have appeared for first time examination in June 07? Can they apply for the theory papers Sec B Part II?

Ans: - Yes, such students will be permitted for Lab I of Sec B Part I along with all the papers of Sec B Part II in June 2010 examination provided passed Lab II of Sec A Part II. If such student fail or do not appear in Lab I of Sec B Part I, the result of Sec B Part II papers will be cancelled.

8. What will happen to those students who have cleared a minimum of two papers of Sec A Part II with GPA of 5 and have appeared for first time examination in Dec 08? Can they apply for the theory papers Sec B Part I?

Ans: - Yes, such students will be permitted for Lab II of Sec A Part II along with all the papers of Sec B Part I in June 2010 examination provided passed Lab I of Sec A Part I. If such student fail or do not appear in Lab II of Sec A Part II, the result of Sec B Part I papers will be cancelled.
