Advanced Level Course In Computer Science

ALCCS is a 3 year Part time Course conducted by the Institution. At present the course is being offered at New Delhi and Hyderabad. ALCCS has been recognised by Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India for appointment to superior posts and services under the Central Government where M.Tech Degree in computer Science is the prescribed qualification for recruitment. The course is designed to impart training in the area of scientific, industrial and commercial software development. The course provides both algorithmic development and application-oriented features.

Eligibility

B.E./B.Tech/AMIETE/AMIE or any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Council of the IETE
or MCA or
MSc - Computer Science, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Operation Research.
Masters in Maths / Mathematical Sciences / Economic Sciences / Bio Sciences / Physical Sciences / Computer Science / Computer Applications.

Course Fee

Tuition Fee - Rs.5000/- per semester payable in advance before the commencement of the Semester. At the time of admission total fee payable is Rs.9,700/-(under revision)

Admission Procedure

An advertisement announcing the commencement of the course and calling for application for admission is notified in the newspapers in New Delhi and Hyderabad in the first week of May every year. Eligible candidates are required to appear for an entrance test usually held in June/July, followed by an interview.

ALCCS is not a distance learning programme. It is a part time course and classes are held in the evening from 6 PM to 8 PM. 70% attendance is mandatory.

Information bulletin cum application form is available in the month of May every year. The same can be obtained by sending Bank Draft for Rs.215/- in favour of Secretary, IETE, New Delhi or  by paying Rs 200/-in cash at the Reception Counter of the IETE  HQ at New Delhi, and  also at IETE Local Centre Hyderabad.
