Shri P N Chopra DIG BSF (Retd) born in Feb, 1928, started his IETE inning in 1978 in Delhi Center Which he looked after as its chairman for 4 terms’ where In addition to acquiring a plot of land for the present building started the fist advance level computer course and rationalized tutorial classes to student.
Joined the IETE council as Industry representative for a number of years.as initially snd  a three term elected council member (1998-01).(3003-05,(2007-09), looked after a variety of assignments like Vice President & Chairman Tech ProgrammeCommittee(TPC)/ZonalCoordinator:(2007-09) Chairman Industrial Cord Committee-ICC:(2006), Hony Treasurer:(1998-99) As chairman Tech Programme Committee help organize a number of Annual Technical Conventions and Mid Term symposia’s .Presently he is a member of Technology Regulatory Advisory Committee {TRAC) .
Started his professional Carrier in Punjab Police in 1948, and joined Border Security force in 1965 after 39 years of service retired as Dy Inspector general with decorations like President of India Police Medal for Distinguished services, Indian Police Medal for meritorious services , number of commendation Cards, BSF Gold Medal and Cash rewards for communication support to Police and BSF during 1965 and 71 war .for Communications ,electronics Data  and Security arrangements for Asian Games –82 Non Align Meet and commonwealth head of the Govt Meets in Delhi .
He has vast Industrial experience, in telecommunications broadcasting and Technical publications. Is widely traveled, A radio Engineer received technical training at Marconi UK Philips Holland and Budavox Hungary; Steered an National level Technical Journal Telematics India for a decade ,set the pace of technical events managements having guided and organised more than a dozen seminars cum exhibitions in the series of INFOTEK at national level. 
Currently Managing Editor Bitcom India, and Consultant to reputed International companies .		 Dr  K. K. Bhutani  passed M. Sc. Tech. in 1962  and completed his Ph. D. in 1966  from J. K. Institute of Applied  Physics and Technology, University of Allahabad  in Electronics Engineering. He also served this Institute for 35 years in different capacities such as Lecturer, Reader, Professor and retired as Professor and Head of the Computer Centre of the University of Allahabad in 1998.
Prof. Bhutani  is  F.I.E.T.E., F.C.S.I., F.I.E.( India ),  LM. I.S.T.E., F.C.E.T., LM.A.M.A. and is presently working as  Director, UPTEC Computer Consultancy Ltd.    He was Chairman, Computer Engineering Division Board of the Institution of Engineers for two years, Council Member of IETE for six years and Council Member of C.S. I. for two years. He was Member/ Chairman of many National Committees of Electronics Commission, UGC, HRD, AICTE of the Govt of India. Prof. K. K. Bhutani has taught BCA, MCA, B.TECH, M.TECH. and has research contributions for a total of 47 years. He has to his credit nearly one hundred publications in Indian and Foreign Journals. He has attended Six International Conferences in different countries on Computers and Robotics. He has won many awards in research and education. He has widely travelled in India ; made repeated visits to U S A, many countries of Europe, to China and also to Japan .
