General
IETE is very proud to announce the broadcast of Interactive lectures through EDUSAT Satellite from 25 Jan 2010. The lectures will be broadcast live from the teaching end established at Noida. The students can interact with the faculty delivering the lectures live from their class rooms established at IETE Centres at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Palakad and Pune.
One lecture shall be broadcast from 1800 hrs to 2000 hrs on all week days (except Tuesdays) where as on Saturdays and Sundays three lectures will be broadcast. Each lecture shall be of two hours duration. There shall not be any broadcast on Tuesdays.
Subjects Covered
The subjects covered will be as under:-
· AMIETE:
AE57/AC57/AT57: Signal and Systems
AE52/AC52/AT52: C and Data Structure
AE66/AC66/AT66: Microprocessors & Microcontrollers
· DIPIETE:
DE51/DC51: Mathematics-I
DE52/DC52: Fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics
Timings of Broadcast
The time of broadcast of lectures will be as under:-
(a) Week Days: Live lectures 1800 hrs to 2000 hrs and repeat broadcast from 1600 hrs to 1800 hrs. The repeat broadcast will be done on the next day. There shall not be any broadcast on Tuesdays.
(b) Saturdays and Sundays: Live lectures from 1000 hrs to 1200 hrs, 1200 hrs to 1400 hrs and 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs. There will be no repeat telecast on Saturdays and Sundays.
During the live broadcast, students can clarify their doubts live with the concerned faculty. In addition special live lectures will be there for each subject after every 10 to 12 lectures. This will be dedicated especially to clear the doubts of students for the lectures held so far and for revision.
Registration
Students are required to register themselves with the respective Centres as mentioned above. A nominal fee of only Rs. 300/- will be charged for each subject per student for the full one Semester.
Programme
The weekly programme of the lectures schedule, timings, faculty etc will be issued every week in advance.
