1.  FOR AMIETE STUDENTS (OLD SYLLABUS):

 [A]  STUDENTS REQUIRE TO COMPLETE IN 4 YEARS OR MORE: As a special dispensation to the students who have enrolled prior to 28 Feb 2007 and have appeared in June 07 examination will be permitted to appear for AMIETE examinations without enforcing any eligibility criteria in order to allow them to complete their AMIETE.

[B]  STUDENTS REQUIRE TO COMPLETE IN 3 YEARS OR MORE(for Diploma holders) Students who have enrolled prior to 28 Feb 2008 and have appeared in June 08 examination will be permitted to appear for AMIETE examinations without enforcing any eligibility criteria in order to allow them to complete their AMIETE.

2.  FOR DipIETE STUDENTS (OLD SYLLABUS): Students who have enrolled prior to 28 Feb 2008 and have appeared in June 08 examination  will be permitted to appear for DipIETE examinations without enforcing any eligibility criteria in order to allow them to complete  their DipIETE.

·        However it may be noted that the student will have to appear in Lab I first and then in Lab II but not vise-versa or together. There has to be a minimum gap of six months in appearing of the two labs.

·        No students will be awarded the AMIETE/DipIETE certificates until & unless he/she scores a minimum of CGPA 5 or more.
