Spacing between
slots is subjected to condition that slot array is with in
the inner periphery of patch array. Slots are spaced at
a distance of 0.8 λ in X direction and 0.6 λ in Y
direction. Total aperture of the patches is square in
geometry while that of slots is rectangular. |
5. SIMULATED AND MEASURED RESULTS OF 2×2 PLANAR ARRAY Simulated return loss bandwidth of 2×2 planar array is 100 MHz at C-band and 300 MHz at X-band. Isolation between two ports is better than 27 dB over the band. |
